Forty years of building, finally legible
Forty years of building across Egypt, finally legible to the clients who decide who builds next: the projects, the record and the scale, organised so they can be checked rather than taken on faith.

The claim a public authority reads first: four decades, on specification, on schedule. The portfolio the site is actually built around — client, location and commissioning authority on every card, not just a photo. One project opened to the challenge it posed and the response it got, with the client and location stated rather than implied. 1985 to now, dated year by year rather than asserted as "decades" in a headline.

Opal General Contracting has been building in Egypt since 1985: residential, commercial, administrative and educational work, plus the mechanical and electrical trades and the infrastructure underneath them. More than fifty projects, and subsidiaries covering concrete, woodwork and finishing so the supply chain stays inside the company.
A firm like that does not have a marketing problem. It has an evidence problem. Forty years of work exists, and none of it is where a prospective client can see it.
The portfolio is the argument
So the site is built around the projects rather than around the services. A mosque in Almazah with room for five thousand people, a premium residential tower, a residential quarter, a commercial corridor, a stud farm for Arabian horses. Those are not a list of capabilities. They are proof, and they answer the only question a client actually has, which is whether this firm has done something like the thing they need.
Who is reading it
Contracting is bought slowly and by several people at once: an owner, an engineer, a procurement officer, sometimes a committee. They are not looking for the same thing. The engineer wants scope and trades. Procurement wants longevity and ownership structure, which is why 1985 and the Egyptian capital structure sit where they can be found rather than in an "About" page nobody opens.
